Sew Crafty Friday

I mentioned yesterday that I have been cleaning and decluttering in order to get ready for Britney's new set of activities, which I will start with her on Monday. As I was going through my closet, I found these. I'm not sure if any of you remember, but I started to make afghans for Kayla and Britney. Britney is getting the granny square afghan, and Kayla was getting the striped one. I was busy this week, so I only got that top color, blue mint I think it's called, on the striped one done

This is what it is supposed to look like when it's done, the afghan pictured on the right.

So tell me, what have you done lately? You could share anything that you have sewed, knitted, crocheted, scrapbooked, etc. We like to see it all!! Just leave your blog linked up in the Mr. Linky below. Leave a quick one sentence blurb on your blog leading people back here. The only reason I ask you to link back here is so that others may possibly be able to join. The more the merrier. If you don't have a blog, or are making it as a gift for someone, just email me your pictures, and I will post them here. Happy Crafting!!

I've been collecting up projects to post about over the last few weeks. Every little stitch counts. Your afghan is similar in color to one of the quilts I'm working on. We will finish them someday, right?

Sorry about the misprint in the linky. It had saved my information from the last time and I didn't realize I had written what it was...

Those afghans are going to be lovely. I love the vibrant colors. I have a few of them myself that I bought just BECAUSE of the colors! Definately not enough for an afghan though! ;-)

Proverbs 31 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Pr 31:10-31
