Waiting
For Him

She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:10

I am an aspiring Proverbs 31 woman. ;0)

As you can see from my title, I am waiting for Him, as in our Lord's, soon return. So I will just share a little bit of my life while I wait. ;0) I'm a Christian stay-at-home, homeschooling, hometherapying ;~) mom to 4. I've been married to my highschool sweetheart for the last 15 years. With the Lord's help, I'm in the process of learning and trying to be a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, friend to those around me, and most importantly, a better daughter to my Heavenly Father.

Sew Crafty Friday

I'm uploading my pictures now. My beloved is traveling(he gets home today) so I had to walk the dogs, etc. I figured I would post it now for your early birds, while I get my act together.

As you can see, there was a delay in putting up these pictures. Micah accidentally dropped a plate. I couldn't believe how many pieces the plate broke into. Mind you, this is only half of the plate!!
I know I haven't explained the organizational wall yet, but each child has a zone in the home that they are responsible for, aside from their bedrooms. The Lord is so good that when I wrote the rooms on little pieces of paper and put them in a bag for them to pull out, each child got the perfect room for them, according to their age. To help them along, I wrote down what needs to be done in each room, in order to say that it is clean. I put the card in an inconspicous area, that only we know where it's at. Do you see that little container on the floor underneath the mirror?

When you open it up, you will find the card.

Here is a close up of the card.

The same thing in the dining room. Thankfully I have a smaller version of that same container in the dining room. ;0)

If you open it up, this is what you will find.

I guess I got a little laminator happy. I have been laminating Bible verses and putting them all over the house. ;0) The front door is metal, so I was able to put a magnet on the back of the laminated card. I've been trying to immerse myself in the Word as much as I can. Seeing Bible verses all around the house really help me to memorize and meditate on His precious Word throughout the day.

So tell me, what have you done lately? You could share anything that you have sewed, knitted, crocheted, scrapbooked, etc. We like to see it all!! Just leave your blog linked up in the Mr. Linky below. Leave a quick one sentence blurb on your blog leading people back here. The only reason I ask you to link back here is so that others may possibly be able to join. The more the merrier. If you don't have a blog, or are making it as a gift for someone, just email me your pictures, and I will post them here. Happy Crafting!!So tell me, what have you done lately? I'm trying, like you, to have more Bible verses around the house. I'd like to have at least one in every room. The miniature sampler in my post was made by a friend years ago - it matches my bathroom perfectly!

Have a good week!

And to tell you how much I've thought about this SCF post since I read it the other day!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of having the little notes in each "zone" room hidden in a little spot!!! That is an awesome idea that I am going to steal!!! And I used to put verses all over the house too and need to do that again!! I'll have to laminate them like that!! I love it! I don't have a laminater, so I buy clear contact paper and laminate that way :)
I definitely need to meditate more on God's word. Thank you for the encouragement, sister!! Love, Bridge

Proverbs 31 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Pr 31:10-31
