As you can see from my title, I am waiting for Him, as in our Lord's, soon return. So I will just share a little bit of my life while I wait. ;0) I'm a Christian stay-at-home, homeschooling, hometherapying ;~) mom to 4. I've been married to my highschool sweetheart for the last 15 years. With the Lord's help, I'm in the process of learning and trying to be a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, friend to those around me, and most importantly, a better daughter to my Heavenly Father.

As the apple tree
among the trees of the wood,
so is my beloved among the sons.
I sat down under his shadow
with great delight, and
his fruit was sweet to my
taste. Song of Solomon 3:10"

Sew Crafty Friday
I'm sorry. We had to pick up the truck this morning.
The only thing "crafty" I got done this week was to fix a blouse for someone from church. lol ;0) The Sabbath school director from church had a blouse on a couple of weeks ago made out of like a sheer fabric. When I looked, she had a rip near the seam. She was going to throw it out, and I told her I should be able to fix it with the serger, as the rest of the blouse was serged.
I'm not sure if you can tell which part I did. I did the seam on top, it looks a little tighter than the seam of the blouse, which is on the bottom.
I'm hoping to start blogging on a regular basis once we get to our new home. If you can please pray for us, that would be great. My beloved is leaving with the truck, car, and pets on Sunday morning, around 3 or 4 in the morning. I will be getting on an airplane Monday morning with the children. What a birthday I will have. lol A perfect gift!! We were planning on leaving this week, but Kayla really wanted to get baptized with our "church family" here. So my beloved will be preaching his last sermon at our church this Sabbath, and he will have the honor of baptizing Kayla before we leave. :0) We wanted to sort of sneak out, as we didn't want the church to make a big deal about planning a farewell. I don't think we will be escaping as quietly as we thought. lol ;0) I would really appreciate your prayers for my beloved and his brother Isaac as they make the over 40 hour drive, especially with Butch.
We weren't sure if we were going to put him to sleep. We left it up to our vet. We prayed beforehand, and asked the Lord to use the vet. He checked him out and said his heart is fine, he's eating fine, etc. We had already said our goodbyes to him. All the children and I cried. Even my dad, all the way in NY was crying. Here we are saying our goodbyes. It was horrible. My beloved was never allowed any pets as a child. This was our first pet. We bought him within a year of getting married. He is older than Kayla!! I was really scared as to how my beloved was going to take it.

We were all surprised when my beloved called to say he was coming back home with Butch. My beloved said we should change his name to Lazarus. lol He pretty much has to be let out to urinate every 3 hours or so, 24 hours a day. It should be a pretty interesting 40+ hour trip. Thank you so much for your well wishes and prayers. I will have my laptop on the plane, so I'm hoping to catch up and share how the Lord opened up the doors to make all of this possible. We serve an amazing God, who cares about ALL the details.

Proverbs 31 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Pr 31:10-31

I'll pray for a successful and safe move for you.
You had hoped to sneak out, but please allow your church family to tell you goodbye in their way. It will be such a blessing to you and to them, even if it's difficult.
Shereen, Sweetie, the story of Butch's "Second Chance" brings tears to my eyes. I have said good-bye to many pets over the years and it really is like losing a member of the family. I'm so very glad your family has extra time with that cute doggie. He looks like a great fellow.
40 hours!!! Wowee! You really are making a big move. But you are so nice I know that you'll make lots of friends and enjoy a wonderful life in your new home. Safe drive to your husband and safe flight to you and the kids!
Oh my, I've been out of the loop so long, I had no idea you were moving. I am praying for you and yours to have a safe journey and most of all a wonderful new adventure. Glad to hear your dog is doing better. It is so hard to lose a pet. They are a huge part of our families. Keeping you in my thoughts.
